TBAALNC Meetings

The Tampa Bay Chapter of the AALNC meets regularly 6 times per year. These meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of the "odd" (Jan/Mar/May/etc) months.

We ask our members and guests to RSVP in advance (link on this page) in order that space and their meal are reserved for them at the meeting as dinner is included.

Registration / sign-in begins between 5:15 and 5:30 pm; networking is encouraged prior to dinner at 6:00pm. Please come early to socialize and participate in discussion groups with Chapter members.

Our speaker (CEU program) is always announced in advance here on our website and members are encouraged to bring interested guests.

Presentation begins at 6:30 pm following a brief business meeting.

Speaker: Carl Rushford, Assistant Specialist Health Information Technologist, Advanced Data Systems Corporation

"Electronic Health Records"

Mr. Rushford is a 25 year veteran visionary with experience leading business operations within the healthcare information technology, consulting and IT marketplace. He will be discussing electronic health records in the MD office and hospital settings as well as electronic radiology records. A thorough and current understanding of this evolving technology is vital to the medicolegal practitioner as the requirements of the Health Information Technology Act of 2007 are realized. Members and guests will not want to miss this timely offering.
